Reading GM ABS codes?

     How does one read ABS codes on a GM vehicle with and a MaxiDiag Elite MD802?  GM isn't a choice under EPB

     EPB is electronic parking brake, not ABS.  Go to the GM diagnostic menu and then choose the "control unit" menu item.  It will ask you what control unit you want to scan.

     Working on the 1996 S10 pick up with the abs module inside the ECU. When using auto read in the MaxiDiag Elite no abs module option will appear! When using other methods there is no communication or the tool freezes! 

    I don't see any available updates for GM.  Any solutions?
